Spreading knowledge through music

Music has long been considered “the universal language of mankind.” Even before 19th century poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow noted it as such, music—the origins of which are widely unknown but date back much further than any of the five Fireside Poets—has forever connected people, place and time.

Game Changers

As of June 10th Entusi is Ugandan run and operated!  Students from the University of Colorado Denver and Colorado Mountain College, along with the Hybls and Myers and a delegation from Creighton University, Western Dairy Association and the University of Denver celebrated Regan as this 36-year father of two now makes the decisions for a team of 18 proud men and women in East Africa who are changing the game and transforming the community at Lake Bunyonyi. 

Local entrepreneurial students visit Africa

Five local students from Denver School of Science and Technology just returned from a powerful trip to Uganda and Rwanda.  It was part of the school's social entrepreneurship program, to allow the students to engage in real, meaningful work and learn more about becoming leaders.

When high-school students Jack Virnich and Jennifer Arreola-Soria go on stage in April to talk about their travels to Japan and China last year, they likely won’t be reading a laundry list of museums they visited or boat rides they took. They did do those things – and thoroughly enjoyed them.
